Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Maintenance & Grounds Technician to assist with the daily upkeep of our facilities and the beauty of our grounds.

This role is focused on hands-on repair work, general landscaping, and supporting our farm team during busy operations. Ideal candidates will be handy with tools, enjoy working outdoors, and be self-motivated to keep the farm looking its best. This is a full-time, year-round job. Pay depends on experience and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, landscaping, and grounds upkeep to ensure the farm remains clean, safe, and inviting for guests.
• Assist with farm operations, providing an extra set of hands for various seasonal tasks and agricultural needs.
• Inspect and perform basic repairs on equipment and facilities as required.
• Repair and maintain buildings, fences, and building fixtures.
• Keep shops, tool sheds, and work areas clean, organized, and tidy.
• Collaborate with the team to address immediate maintenance needs and minimize downtime.
• Maintain clear communication regarding the status of ongoing repairs and tasks.
• Assist with hands-on tasks for new construction projects.
• Perform various manual labor tasks as needed to support the overall success of the orchard and farm.

Qualifications

• Experience operating outdoor equipment (e.g., zero-turn mowers, tractors, weed eaters, and basic power tools).
• Organized, efficient, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Some construction and plumbing experience is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina: Willing and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions; possesses the strength and dexterity for labor-intensive tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent safety record.
