Set in our own little bit of heaven, participants of The Dingleberry Dash faced a daunting 3.1-mile course with fun and challenging obstacles placed throughout the route.

The running path lead participants over and across the entire orchard, including less-visited areas like Robin Hood's Hideout, secret creek-side trails, and offered breath taking views at the high-tower power lines. Obstacles along the way included a menacing slip and slide, multiple creek crossings, a hay-bale rope swing, tire-runs, and steep rolling inclines throughout the orchard.

Proceeds from the Dingleberry Dash were donated to support CommUnity, formerly the Crisis Center of Johnson County. CommUnity Crisis Services and Food Bank is a volunteer-driven organization that provides immediate and non-judgmental support for individuals facing emotional, food, or financial crisis within the Corridor and beyond.

At the finish, racers were rewarded with a free cider at Rapid Creek Cidery. Dashers worked up a serious appetite, and the crew from Rapid Creek Cidery delivered with some serious grub at the post-race Pig Pickin' and BBQ celebration, an all you can eat hog roast.
